So in Lecture last Friday we participated in an activity that would've turned out much more nicely had it been a little more coordinated, but then again, I guess it being uncoordinated was the point. Everybody took a sheet of paper and it just took off from there.
Basically, there were parts of speech projected at the front of the room. For example, when it says noun, one would write any noun they feel like on the paper they currently have and then pass it. So ideally you would get a specific sentence structure, like adjective noun verb adjective noun.
But that's just not how it turned out! Everything was a huge mess and basically nothing really went right, but it doesn't really matter (unless you're whoever it was that got the page where somebody literally wrote one word 6 times in a row).
After receiving our "Exquisite Corpse" poems, the true assignment was revealed: to go out and take some photos relating to the poems that we received. Here's my poem in addition to the images.
Ugly garden mourning nasty gray.
Yellowed pony thinking curiously.
Terrifying eye resting quietly.
ugly morning nasty. nice image!
